Dear participants,

OM / YL / Club’s / Group’s !

The  Board  of  the  CWJF GROUP,   is   pleased   to  inform   that   the   result   of  CQMM  DX  CONTEST  /  2021  is  now  available   ( see below ).

Congratulations   to   all 2.070  participants   from  121  different  DXCC countries,  who  submitted their  LOGs  and  who  participated  in  this  competition  sponsored  by  the  CWJF Group,  one of the largest CW groups in the world.

This  year,  the  contest  database  recorded  351.119 QSO’s. During  the  calculation  of  the  result,  we  were  able  to   validate  329.417 QSO’s                 ( 93,8% )  of  the reported contacts.

We are very happy with the worldwide growth that the CQMM DX CONTEST has been achieving with each new edition. And you, who have already participated in our contest, are part of this great success.

In 2021, new records were achieved, highlighting the 12 new world records, in addition to 39 new continental records. These are the data that prove the consistent growth that we are achieving in the international community.

In 2021, the main highlight goes to the station ZM1A ( Opr: Jack – ZL3CW ), with its fantastic score obtained in the SO / SB / 40M / HP category, which took advantage of the excellent opening that occurred in the 40-meter band and which favored contacts long distance, and approached 1 million valid points, surpassing by a wide margin ( 77.08% ) the world record of the LY2A station obtained in 2020 and with that becoming the first radio amateur in OCEANIA to obtain a world record in the CQMM DX CONTEST.

Two other stations that also highlighted out in 2021 were OM8CW in the SO / SB / 80M / LP category, which surpassed the previous world record by 318,51% and PP5BT in the SO / SB / 10M / LP category, which surpassed it by 137,83% the previous world record and held the fiercest dispute in the contest, having surpassed the 2nd place  ( PY3KN ), by only 852 points ( 1.16% ).

Another joy we had this year was having the confirmation of the receipt of the logs from 146 QRP stations, being 3 as check-log ( had a increase of 12,3% in relation to the previous year ) and 36 YL stations ( had a increase of 50% in relation to the previous year ). And every year, the number of QRP and YL stations to be continued increasing.

But it is always important to emphasize that the support we receive from radio amateurs, clubs and groups from our country and also from other countries on the 6 continentis very important. Without that support, we might not have made it that far, with this success that is repeated every year.

We hope to have your participation again in this year’s contest, as you are very important to all of us, and if this year is your first participation in our contest, know that it will be a great honor for the organizers of the CQMM DX CONTEST, and certainly also for the other participants.

We ask for your collaboration to help us to spread the result among clubs and groups in your country and in this way you will be helping us to have more participants in the contest this year.
